eta plus enjoys an international reputation as an experienced manufacturer of medium-pressure UV lamps, UV LEDs, perfectly matched electronic ballasts ELC and complete power cabinets.

For 30 years now, we have been developing and manufacturing high-quality UV components in the power range of 1 kW up to 35 kW. With headquarter in Nuertingen near Stuttgart in Germany, we belong to the METZ Holding and currently employ over 110 highly-qualified staff. In addition to manufacturing our own products, we place great importance on research, development and customer service.

High class components for UV application on BWTS:
Our customized medium pressure UV lamps and perfectly matched electronic lamp controllers ELC (electronic ballasts) from 3 to 35 kW guarantees lowest system maintenance costs at highest reliability for all high power water treatment applications. With their high power density, medium pressure UV lamps enable powerful, efficient and compact UV solutions.

Powered by our perfectly matched ELC the UV lamps show exceptionally high lamp service lifetime and strongly minimized dependence on switching cycles. Our DNV GL type approved ELC X_B series offers marine specific properties for harsh ship environment. We also develop complete control cabinet solutions for the energy supply of your UV system.

The control cabinets of the ELCC series are designed in a way that the advantages of the high power densities and simple control are optimally transferred to the overall system. Our power cabinets are DNV GL type approved and comply with USCG.

Medium pressure UV lamps

As one of the leading suppliers in the world we provide medium pressure UV lamps from 1 kW up to 35 kW which are customized to your needs and applications. Our lamp are renowned in the market for their quality and life time performance. We provide double and single ended lamps as well as special versions suited to the harsh conditions on board of ships. With our medium pressure UV lamps you can build up BWTS with a minimal footprint, lowest system maintenance costs and highest reliability.

Electronic Lamp Controllers - ELC

When powered by our perfectly matched ELC the medium pressure lamps show exceptionally high lamp service lifetime and strongly minimized dependence on switching cycles. ELC X_B-series was particularly designed for marine applications like UV ballast water treatment systems and is fully GL approved. It features a PFC controller, low THD, wide range input, 55°C operation in moist environment, earth fault protection and best ignition properties to name only a few.

Power Cabinets

As a next step forward we offer now a complete cabinet for the power electronics of the UV system with the same maritime standards and certifications than our ELC. We design and manufacture lamp control cabinets from 6x 4kW to 12x 12kW ELC. These cabinets are the most compact on the market and allow our customer to minimize the footprint of their system which will be very important in the retrofit market.

Successful certification of ELCC Power Cabinets and ELC_B series electronic lamp drivers

Our control cabinet series for the ELC X devices has received the important type approvals of DNV GL for the maritime sector and comply with USCG.
At the same time we also received the DNV GL and USCG approvals for all types of the ELC X_B series.
