Gas analyzers from SICK are based on a variety of powerful measurement principles. With its in-situ and extractive measurement technology for equipping complete facilities, SICK also provides solutions for monitoring ship emissions, type-approved by classification organizations.

Solutions even for difficult dust measuring tasks are available, such as dust measurement in wet gases. Suitability-tested devices and those with automated testing of zero and reference point are offered or features such as contamination monitoring or automated self-alignment.

Volume flow measurement, mass flow measurement or flow velocity measurement - the measuring tasks for determining gas flow are very diverse. In compliance with valid norms and standards FLOWSIC reliably measures a wide range of gases and are specifically aligned to special requirements. Flow metering systems from SICK incorporate leading ultrasonic metering technology for custody and non-custody transfer purposes.

CEMS solutions MARSIC280

The MARSIC280 from SICK is a cost-optimized solution for reliably measuring emissions on ships according to MARPOL Annex VI and IMO MEPC. MARSIC280 is designed for measurement of SO2 and CO2 downstream of the scrubber. Several classification organizations have type-approved the measuring device for this application.

CEMS solutions MARSIC300

The MARSIC300 ship emissions measuring device from SICK is an innovative solution for reliably measuring emissions on ships according to MARPOL Annex VI and IMO MEPC. The MARSIC300 is type-approved for this application by well-known classification organizations. The MARSIC300 measures both SOx and CO2 upstream and downstream of the scrubbers, and NOx upstream and downstream of SCR (selective catalytic reduction) plants.

MARSIC280: The new cold-extractive emission measurement technology from SICK
SICK continues to expand its measurement technology series on the high seas. The new MARSIC280 specifically monitors the effectiveness of scrubber systems.

The new "small" MARSIC is specifically oriented to the requirements of the scrubber application and also uses the proven filter technology of the MARSIC300. The MARSIC280 features new state-of-the-art components. Assembly has also been simplified. The MARSIC280 is supplied pre-assembled on a mounting frame. Assembly is saving time and money. Close cooperation with a leading global classification society took place during development. In addition to this initial type approval, further approvals are being applied for MARSIC280. MARSIC280 thus combines long-term technical and target-oriented device optimization with acceptance by the leading classification societies. In addition, MARSIC280 is low-maintenance and, like its MARSIC peers, will be characterized by longevity. Components can be easily changed using a module exchange concept. Due to the use of standardized units, e.g. from the MARSIC300, MARSIC280 offers flexibility and reduces the necessary spare parts inventory.
