steute Electrical Components (Shanghai) Co., Ltd was established in 2011 with full investment from steute Technologies GmbH & Co. KG. Located in Shanghai minhang district pujiang Industrial Park. The China sub-company enables better development of the Chinese market and service to domestic customers.
With the rapid growth of business, steute China currently has more than 40 employees, including 5 administrative and financial personnel, 5 quality control personnel, 10 sales team members, and more than 20 production and technical center personnel. The domestic production and warehousing area reaches more than 2,400 square meters, equipped with advance production lines and testing equipment, such as waterproof test chambers, glue filling machine, wind presses, laser printers and other industrial manufacturing equipment, as well as anti-static production facilities, which meet the relevant requirements of ISO 9001 and 13485 and able to provide certified user interfaces, automation products, and wireless products for Chinese customers. Standardized process flow and strict quality control ensure high product quality.

Foot switches
Foot switches are used in combination with all machines, plants and devices which cannot be operated manually. The steute product range includes wireless foot switches, cabled foot switches and explosion-proof cabled foot switches with 1, 2, 3 or 4 pedals.
steute develops and produces robust foot switches for all manner of applications and branches of industry, e.g. for hygiene-sensitive environments, corrosive atmospheres or Ex zones. Customised foot switches for individual applications can be realised on request.
Solenoid interlocks
Solenoid interlocks lock many different types of protective equipment until dangerous operations or movements inside the machine have come to a halt. This guarantees not only machine and process safety, but also the personal safety of employees.
The steute range includes not only locking devices for normal environments, but also explosion-proof solenoid interlocks. They guarantee the reliable safeguarding of moving, revolving or removable protective units in explosive environments, for example gas Ex zones or dust Ex zones.
Position switches
Position switches – also known as limit switches - are maybe the most versatile of all the steute products, regarding both applications and variants. They are used in all manner of fields, automation technology being just one.
Available with or without safety function, steute position switches detect the positions of e.g. guard doors, making a significant contribution to both personal safety and machine safety.
The product range includes many different series with metal enclosures or plastic enclosures, available with numerous actuator variants, as well as different contact variants. Wireless position switches and explosion-proof position switches are also available.
