About us

After 30 years at our customers' side, we do not promise the reliable and cost-saving compressed air supply, we guarantee it. Neuenhauser Kompressorenbau GmbH is a company of the Neuenhauser Group and emerged in 1986 from the compressor construction program of the company Jos. L. Meyer. In 1995 we took over the air receiver and valve head production of the company Thyssen Umformtechnik. In order to extend our product range, since 2000 we have included the air starters of the well-known manufacturer TDI - Tech Development Inc. in our program.

Our products are type-approved and are manufactured according to the regulations of the international classification societies for shipping and offshore.

We are a strong and competent partner for our customers in the shipping, oil and gas, industrial and plant engineering sectors.

NK Air Compressor & Air Receiver

The implementation of very short assembly times while maintaining quality and safety at the same time is one of the particular advantages of our complete compressor modules, which are ready to operate after just a short installation period. Fully assembled, piped and wired, the customer-specific starting air systems that we manufacture are able to quickly start operation. NK Air Receivers

We design, manufacture and test air-receivers acc.to the Pressure Equipment Directive 2014/68/EU and the AD2000 regulations. Approvals and certifications acc. to the regulations of all international maritime classification societies (DNV, BV, LR etc.) are also indispensable standards for us. Since 2022 we are also an approved manufacturer acc. to the 'ASME - Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code, Section VIII, Division I'.
We also implement special designs of top quality and with reliable functionality acc. to our customers' specific requirements.

NK Valve Heads

We have developed modern, reliable and FEM-calculated valve heads, specifically for use as air receiver fittings. These ensure permanent operation (acc. AD2000-S1) on ships, offshore (FPSO) and onshore plants. They can be installed on starting air, emergency air and working air reservoirs, etc., and are available in rated widths of DN 38, DN 50 and DN 80. The shut-off, safety and control fittings are located centrally and in one space-saving housing on the valve head.
