The devices of the series MEV283 are compact Oil Mist Detectors (OMD) for monitoring of 4-stroke diesel/gas engines. They are available in different versions and are characterized by long-term usage and simple installation on the crankcase breather. The device monitors the actual oilmist concentration and crankcase pressure. For each of the two measured values, a galvanic isolated analog signal output 4 ... 20mA, CAN-bus and LAN is available.
