Potential secondary oil sources are produced in large diesel, gas and dual fuel engines. There are bearings, large end bearings, pistons, liners, sliders, pumps, camshaft bearings, chains, gears or tools left behind from installation. All of these parts can produce oil mist and therefore present a hazard. The aim of the cable system for the engine control is to recognize the danger in their relations.
