HEICO-LOCK® wedge locking systems provide maximum reliability for bolt joints even under extreme vibration or dynamic loads. The effectiveness has been proven by the latest standards DIN 65151, DIN 25201-4 & NASM 1312-7. An important feature distinguishing it from other systems is using tension rather than friction. The systems work at low and high preloads including when using lubricants, very easy to be installed, removed and re-used.
HEICO-TEC® tensioning systems meet all requirements of ISO 898-2 thus can replace any conventional nut with same strength. Easily, fast and reliably assemble large bolted joints without electric, hydraulic, or pneumatic tools. All you need is a torque wrench. High preload force is reached due to torsion-free assembly. Controlled friction characteristics ensure tightening and repeat accuracy better than +/-5% which are confirmed by DNV GL. Losses from settlement do not occur and full capacity of the joint is achieved. The systems can be re-used.
